AMD will launch in the coming months its new mobile platform Sabine / Lynx with APU Llano for competition with Intel Huron River Sandy Bridge processor from Intel. We discover what might give the game between the two thanks to a video shot at the CeBIT 2011 which is being held in Hannover, Germany.

Our colleagues at Notebook Italia have indeed had the opportunity to attend a demonstration of a solution based on AMD Llano, an APU (Accelerated Processing Unit) from the Fusion Technology and Ontario as Zacate and therefore incorporates a single chip controller DDR3, some graphics and some processor.

This platform has been faced with a solution based on Intel processor-Sandy Bridge Core i7 2630QM (2.0 GHz) incorporating some HD Intel GMA 3000 with Intel HM67. Both solutions were also equipped with 4 GB DDR3 RAM and a 128 GB SSD They were confronted by various tests filmed, and that in parallel to fully realize the performance of each against its competitor.

Under Final Fantasy, we note that the AMD solution shows fluid, with energy that varies little while in the Intel solution is more jerky Final Fantasy, with peak consumption visible.
