Asus presented its new ultraportable VX6S Lamborghini, an evolution of VX6 Cedar Trail in Intel platform with Atom processor and Radeon Cedarview HD6470M. Now we learn a little more about it via an unpacking and handling video.
Version handling is equipped with an Atom processor Cedarview D2700 (2.13 GHz), 4GB DDR3 RAM, a hard disk at 5400 rev / min, a Radeon HD6470M, a 12.1-inch slab bright LED Backlight (1366 x 768), a 0.3 megapixel webcam with microphone, card reader (SD / SDHX / MMC) and connectivity including Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 3.0 + HS, HDMI, VGA , Headphone, Microphone, Ethernet and USB ports (x3).
The Asus Lamborghini VX6S weighs 1.56 kg with 6 cell battery Li-Ion 5200mAh and runs on Windows 7 Home Premium. In terms of design, point of novelty with the recovery of what is already proposed under the Lamborghini VX6, except for the
color orange, which is here a good indicator for the hull while the interior remains black. The battery below and above a door provides access to the hard drive and RAM.
Inside, only the palm rest and keyboard are matte, with the remainder including glossy touchpad. The chiclet keyboard flexes under pressure in the middle. When starting the PC, we heard the sound of a car boot.
3DMark06, the Asus Lamborghini VX6S tested a score of 3424 points (2800 points for the VX6 D525 with Atom and ION) and 2484 points in PCMark Vantage. It also displays an index of 3.8 Windows 7 corresponding to the processor while the rest of the elements gets an index equal to or greater than 5.2.
