What does that make you believe that? I do not think that your CPU is limited with a GTX560, especially if @ 3.2 GHz.
To check you throw the task manager, you post the Performance tab, and when you play it trains you return Windows to see if your proc is 100%.
No problem exceptions. Genre F1 2010 for example I think double the fps from the sandy bridge.
So if you do not play those games that are among the exceptions you can keep and wait Ivybridge or bulldozer, for example, or even more.
Finally I have a Q9400@3.2ghz me and I'll end up changing it for sure, but for now all the games I play it goes well and I save so I wait to change cpu / cm / ram when the time comes, I do not know when.
If in this passage or rowing oars you also if you drop the resolution, then chances are that you be cpu limited. If lowering the resolution it does not train more then it comes from the cg.
I give you an example I recently played Brink, gpu limited so not worth to change (it uses the process to 30%) In this momment I play The Witcher one, my cpu is enough.
I will not change to earn points or bench in games I play no.
It gives an idea, but actually I saw the case on trackmania, 25% of use (the equivalent of one core) but the curve spread it on the 4.
And I am CPU limited on this one.
