Thread: Asus X58 Sabertooth, red LED cpu and dram

I just get my new PC a few days ago,I'm not at my first fitting, and I was shocked not to see him start.

Different fans run, nobeep, black screen.
I checked and rechecked the CPU fan, trieddifferent combination of memory, a strip, 2.3, nothing to do, thebutton has no effect MemOK has to restart my pc directly.
My ramis compatible with my motherboard.

I have almost the same problem as you. My pc is working very well for 1 year and became increasingly erratic

Now 9 times out of 10 I have the CPU LED remains lit and nothing happens.
And when the pc finally want to start, the LED lights cpu, then turns off, the LED does the same ram and then boot the PC.

My PC worked flawlessly until last night. I died last night after three weeks of uninterrupted operation. This morning I try to turn it on. I had the first post, and then led the dram, cpu and pci-e blinks, and tries to rekindle loop, without success (over display, nothing).

I removed the memory, graphics card and CPU, I have the same problem. So it's either the motherboard or power supply.

I never solved the problem but I found two tricks.

Disconnect connector from power to power supply to off. Wait 5 minutes and left.

And has worked every time with when I passed the base frequency applied to the processor. So instead of the usual 133 MHz, the value I passed a 166 MHz.
