Rather than hitting a shaved down OS onto low powered hardware the Skylight advanced the widget-centric Internet we've grown-up familiar to on our mobile phones equipped with a full-sized keyboard and clamshell design.

Announced at CES on Tuesday, the Skylight is motorized by 1.8 GHz Snapdragon processor, with integral WiFi and 3G mobile broadband. Its 10.1-inch HD screen presents 1280 by 720 resolutions. And regardless of being a bodyweight at 1.95 pounds the machine felt strong, with a solid center and chassis. The full-sized keyboard is typical Lenovo-fare: contented, roomy keys made my admittedly limited typing session a nice one.
