Thread: HTC Touch Pro2 belt attachment (wireless router)

This will allow you to connect your HTC Touch Pro2 to your computer using its wireless connection. In essence, it makes your phone a wireless router.

Download this file to your phone (or open it in the browser or switch it on SD card):

Go to Start> Comm Manager - Disable WiFi if it is on
Run the cab file.
Go to Start> Internet Sharing All applications> CM
Confirm the settings (change the name or the WEP key if you want)
Click Start in the lower right corner
Follow the instructions on screen


Now you should be able to connect to your phone as you would a wireless router. Do not download too much data with this connection. You raise a flag and your service provider will charge you for it!

I recently found this link a try. It works great. I have the Sprint Touch Pro2. I can use it simply seldom (I'm usually near a hotspot). Normally, I listen to streaming audio on the phone using a bandwidth continues. How to use the Sprint phone as a hotspot?
