Default New Sandisk 1Gb MicroSD 2Gb Memory Card

I bought in early September at Carrefour 3 micro SD cards of 2 GB (action 3 for the price of 2). I own only 1 needed but the other 2 candidates, I found quickly. Now, a week or 2 later we come to the point that more than 1 GB cards that have and what show error messages everywhere. After format but there is also a card of 1 GB over. I therefore returned to Carrefour, and I was, what to simmer, with a new card (I had only my own, and the other people do not live next door). Yesterday evening, then tried to take more than 1 GB and to yes: same problem from more than 1gb on the card I get error messages. I first thought that I just sins, but it would be coincidence that the three of us together, on three different PCs make the same mistake?

Has anybody here experience with it?

I Ga in Each case for cash-back, but then what of 2 GB micro SD cards are good?

It is perhaps a strange question, but what device do you use? It is known for certain HTC devices that there is a bug in the SD card part. This is the contents of the card is corrupt. Maybe this has something to do with your problems.

I only buy Sandisk or Transcend, never any problems with it. This Dane-Elect had, which never comes to me more: 2 had problems 2 times. But have you ever tried Pocket Mechanic? This formatted something drastic.

Older card readers in computers recognize cards more often than not 1 GB. So after formatting will be available only 1GB instead of 2 GB. I have the same problem. You can then use the best card in your device format, for example pocket mechanic.

If I only I had my card reader for my PC or something similar suspect, but 4 cards with the same problem on 3 different PC's in 5 different devices is still too good for something other than the card suspect.

I have understood, would not just 2 1Gb chips in such a 2Gb card, and this is a bad batch with 1 faulty chip or something ... And you should really nothing more to do than setting up dates to make it wrong. Once on the 1 GB is wrong and give him half Friday more, even if all your data back premises.

This seems exactly the problem I've had several times. After the first time formatting my SD card was also to 1GB, nothing helped.

In retrospect it was my card that was too old. Now I have purchased a new I never had this problem. So perhaps it's wise to Maxus his tip to follow. Buy or borrow a card somewhere that max 1 year old. If you do this format I think your problem is solved. Otherwise you have a chance that your next card becomes corrupt again ...

Very strange, Sandisk is normally one of the better cards. I have been no more. Maybe bad batch before?
