Why do you think the lock is defective? Read it now no more tickets, or will not be the ticket? If he no longer read the cards that the new card a trample 1 had the contacts, and a pin of the SD slot has bent. There are 2 solutions: open and see if you get him straightened (careful, those things break every now and then you're further from home), or send.

I have the same problem with a 2GB card in my IPAQ 3970. The slot in the IPAQ is now no SD card. Guarantee long past of course. Like to hear what you've done, self-repair or send, and what the result.

The opinion of the PDA store employee was to 2GB to be used in a 3970. A hard reset would solve the inability to read the 512 card. Unfortunately, that does not help. I fear that I am also the connectors into the slot must be suspect.

Within 10 minutes I was back outside, with a working IPAQ 3970 with a 2GB 150x card! The repeater also has the SD card maintenance problems in the future.

But if I understand correctly, a 4 GB card ice with a 3950 fine? With each (including elcheapo) brand or only the well-known brands?

A colleague of mine has a 2 GB in a 3800 series, no problem. Or a 4GB or a problem? I dare not say. But the message that the series IPAQ3900 a 2GB could not is not correct.

The judgment of the PDA hoard member of staff was to 2GB toward subsist worn in a 3970. A tough reorganize would answer the failure to convert the 512 card

It seem to be to a certain extent regular tribulations with IPAQ3970 as a lot of use had related experience where and in nearly everyone cases security was expire.
