It's always struck me as odd that intales of myth and magic, mastery of the black arts always arrivesdown to repeating some mumbo jumbo. You can do all manner of amazingtricks as long as you can remember some instead simple instructionsthat passed to rhyme.

Magic Mancy could do with some simpleinstruction manual of its own. A series of puzzles enclosed togetherby instead a dubious tale focusing on the search for a series ofmagic books, Magic Mancy takes about as long to play as it seems tohave taken to evolve.

The game itself - through likely exactlysensible in its aboriginal language - falls victim to what could becalled a 'case of the Babel fishes' when translated into English.Dialogue – of which there is enough – creates very little sense,on the text so muddled it about feels as you've started listeninginto a conversation halfway through.

Our best estimation isthat the purpose of the plot is to work through puzzle after puzzleto unlock a collection of magic books you've accidentally mislaid.Doing so means navigating through one inanimate display afteranother, moving a pointer around to interact with any objects inplay: most do nothing, but some trigger the game's puzzles, which canalso be played personally in Magic Mancy's Quick Play mode.

Fewof the plots on offer require small introduction: Match 3, forinstance, is a fairly basic take on Bejeweled, where the purpose isto match up a set number of gems in order to progress. Peg Solitaireis as allegiance to the original game, with the idea being to jumppegs above one another until just one piece is left. Memory, like itsname suggests, is a case of repeating button-presses as played out ondisplay.

The other 2 games – Mastermindand 8 Queens – will be less familiar to most players, and MagicMancy creates small try to explain their intricacies to new comers. The sparse, one-line intros that open each game even serve as theassist file, meaning a trip to Wikipedia is often the just way tofathom just what you should be doing and how.

It allreflectors the hands-off near Magic Mancy applies in the plot's mainway. Surely, it's quite possible that vast numbers of players willattentively work their way through Magic Mancy's reams of text onlyto be left clueless when they find its opening stage, with themotivates that appear when you click on erroneous objects offeringlittle insight as to what you should do next.

In all, it'shard to fathom only what Magic Mancy is meant to accomplish. Thepuzzles it packages together are basic at most beneficial, and withsmall idea having been given as to how they can be drew into onestory Magic Mancy lacks any sparkle any.
