Rage Smart is a new entry in the dual segment that is very popular in the :mIry today. This devices supports two networks. The SIM slots are under the erycover with calling keys on front panel. bile all contacts and messages are shown ether, the phone, however, does not have standby service, so when a call is active the any connection, the second network ill show as being out of coverage area or itched off The handset is made from a combination 'black and red plastic which is not very ctive. The front and back panels are black did a red strip runs around the side panels. l1Iere is no shortcut key on the side panel.

The multimedia side


Although the Rage Smart is a sub-entry level device, it has decent multimedia muscle in the form of FM radio, music player and VGA cam*era. The FM reception of the phone is good and you can store up to 30 radio channels. The phone does have FM recording but does not have wireless FM connectivity you need to plug in the earphones to listen to the radio. The audio quality of the phone is average on both loudspeaker and earphone. There is no scheduled FM recording feature on the phone, which is a rather common feature in this seg ?WIillI -pkoVle th'ilt fib ebl'j IVl 'jour- -poc..ket ment of affordable devices. The phone supports all popular music formats. The music player of the phone is plain in appearance and does not have good additional features like equalizer settings, 3D sound effects. etc. A music player shortcut button in is given on the front panel of the phone. For imaging, the camera comes with a VGA camera. You can set resolutions of up to 640x480 pixels for taking pic*tures. The camera has picture enhancement options like white balance. scene mode and effect setting, and picture qual*ity is acceptable. The phone supports video recording too.
