IT'S A TRAGIC fact oflife that brains and beauty rarely go hand in hand, and nowhere is this more evident than with the MotoRazr 2 V8. The latest Razr looks as sharp as its forbears and is thinner than Jude Law's hair, but there's bugger all memory: only 512MB of internal storage, just over 400MB of which is available for tunes, and no slot for adding more via memory card. That's just bizarre when you consider the muso-friendly features of the V8, including Windows Media Player compatibility, stereo Bluetooth support and a touch-sensitive secondary screen on the clamshell lid for



controlling playback whilst shut. On the other hand, given the dreadfully rough sound quality of this thing, especially via the cheap hands-free-set headphones that come with it, maybe the fact that you can only store about 50 tunes is a blessing in disguise. Oh, and the headphone out is USB-only too, so you can't even easily plug in a decent set of cans. Phfft.
