Thread: Motorola Phone Tools 4 "Unable to communicate with the mobile phone" message?

I connected fine and it found my phone and recognized it. (I have an alltel V3a Razr)However, when I try to send .mp3, ringtones, or pictures, or try to look into my phone through the PC, it says "CONNECTING" then it says "Unable to communicate with the mobile phone"I am running Windows XP. I tried to do the live update, but it said it "timed out"I've tried it twice.I don't think the update is the problem because it initialized my phone.
