There's a novel white model, which is white on the front face and mirrored on the rear, but the touch retains its 2010 dimensions: 4.4 by 2.3 by 0.3 inches (HWD) and 3.6 ounces. Apple's tradition A4 chip supplies the instrument, and the extremely crisp Retina screen stays 3.5 diagonal inches and 960-by-640 pixels. The touch left-hand panel houses 2 Volume buttons, a headphone jack, a speaker, and a 30-pin connector for USB computer synchronizing are on the bottom of the player. The Power button sits up top, and the Home button stays below the screen on the front panel.


There are 2 camera lenses — one towards the top of the screen, and one with the rear, in the top slope left corner, which is came with a mic. The mirrored rear panel is great for examining your teeth on the sly, but it picks up fingerprints extremely easily.

Navigating the music menus on the iPod touch is completely intuitive. Apple has produced everything fast and easy — scroll song or artist lists by dragging a finger or skip ahead to a letter on the scrollable alphabet on the right slope of the display. The today Playing display is a show-window for album fine art, and you can play music when you surf the Web, display photos, or also play games.


By itself, the iPod touch is a fine audio instrument — plug in a couple of good-standard headphones and you won't be defeated with the frequency range and overall audio standard. To my proceeding disappointment, Apple however bids its inventory, sub par ear buds. Audiophiles listening to profit tracks on the touch will be best served by leaving the EQ off. I had the itouch a long time and thought it was great but now I think the iphone4 is much better :P
