Thread: Requirements for SACD playback

Want to have my SACD capable Blu-ray player to run on a new AVR Receiver. On what should I look for? Or anyone can play the modern AVR? I know there is a thread SACD 5.1 sound over HDMI? but after reading this document I am confused more than informed. Sorry if I have to say that.

Done. The Marantz SR7005 can not receive DSD bit stream from SACD. It should be possible for SR7007. Some BD / SACD player in turn bit stream output setting the SACD sound automatically between DSD and PCM when the AVR "understand" the other one can explicitly DSD output on and off.
