Creative recently announced the addition of the 32GB variant to the ZEN range of media players. It's a move that will put Creative as the first mainstream manufacturers to incorporate 32GB of flash storage in a portable media player; thus leaving behind competitor products from Apple which max-out at 16GB.
The Creative Zen 32GB is said to have a compact size, high battery life, and an SD H C card slot in order to increase the memory when required. It supports the MP3/AACfWMA audio formats as well as does DivX and XviD videos. It is also compatible with the iTunes Plus audio files. With a storage capacity of approximately 8000 songs (MP3, WMA or AAC) or 120 hours of video, the launch of this pocket sized dynamo is eagerly awaited. Its credit card sized dimensions is loaded with a 2.5-inch colour screen; perfect for photos, movies, and music. It further boosts with an expandable memory eased with a convenient SD memory card slot.
Besides it huge capacity of 32GB, Zen has good sound quality, one of the best screens and it also supports unprotected AAC files, the oft-touted successor to MP3
and the format used by the iTunes Store. Plus, it also supports SDHC cards, which means that when they're available next year, you'll be t able to add 16GB to the memory.
