Thread: Transfering Videos from Camcorder to PC HELP!!!?

Download VLC Media Player it can play almost anything.

Do you have to open it in Window media player?If you can, try to open the .avi file with another program.

I'd use this program called Super C to convert it to another format such as wmv, or mpg...Do an internet search for SuperC and you'll find the download. I hate microsoft for being such goofs about it. It's like it's their way or no way...

I transfer it and it opens in two folders : DCIM and MP3 ... nothing is in the MP3, in the DCIM folder there is folders 100VIDEO and 200IMAGE, I want to down load a video. It comes out MPEG0005.AVI but when i try to play it it wont work, it says : Windows Media Player encountered a problem while playing the file.
