Everyone and their dog knows that the iPod update is long overdue, and, therefore, in anticipation to see what else Apple could withdraw their hats definitely install someone in their place in the province. Currently, the world's largest rumor mill known as the Internet is alight with some next-gen iPod nano photos (or at least to what they pretend to be), although better-known sites have already been served notice to leave the hot portfolio of legal eagles' Apple… take such offences (for want of a better word) image. Logically, it would be possible to think that the "leakage" will be a real picture when it is actually managed to rile activities from Apple feathers, eh? From what we know, the images paraded grounds rather short and squat iPod nano with the same small screen - some might protest vehemently that the screen size will not do any justice to the video when playing video is maintained even in the first turn.

The word is that this new iPod nano will be released in a few months from now on, to be about right, as the frenzied holiday season is looming just over the horizon. It would be folly to abandon all those dollars by issuing updated model after Christmas, but then again things went happened. Hopefully Apple will remain faithful to history, although dropping new player iPod in October deadline.

What are the changes that you would like to see in the new iPod nano? Do you think that it will get even slimmer? What about flash memory that comes with it - I personally gunning for 8 GB and 16GB versions with the 2GB model is the entry-level pick. Maybe Apple could even support the inclusion in the slot for a memory card, any further expansion, but that prospect unlikely. Rumor also that the new iPod nano interface can be even invented so that it would be somewhat similar to one found on the forthcoming Leopard operating system.
