The second-gen iPod Touch is thinner, with a shiny, contoured, iPhone-esque rear and tapered edges. It also has external volume controls, a commuter -bothering external speaker and Nike+ functionality built in. It's still quite pricey for the 32GB version. But this isn't just a music player, it's a full-on entertainment system, complete with Wi-Fi, email, maps and access to stacks of great games and apps, a great many of which are free or or so cheap that they may as well be.
