Sony's latest Walkman player, the B143 has a slightly rugged looking albeit a little bulky design. But looks aren't everything so allow me to give you a 'lobotomy' of sorts and fi"ll you in on how good the B143. The UI is simplistic and quite user friendly. Data transfer is multi-optional Syncing with Windows Media Player, copy pasting onto the 4 GB of internal memory and using Sony's Media Transfer software. No complaints about the music player from its quality to decibel. The Zappin feature works fine. Sony has also included the one touch Bass enhancer. The customizable EQ gives users with specific preferences a personalized tone quality. The FM Radio's reception was average at best. A dedicated Record button can be used for the radio or the voice recorder. The B143F also comes with Sony's AVLS audio limiting technology. The MP3 player is capable of over 12 hours of non stop playback.Sony NWZ-B143F makes for a pretty good MP3 player. The Zappin feature may be a little redundant considering the player has a display. The player is available in a few funky colors so you might want to ask if you're planning on purchasing it.
