ASUS has unveiled a 7-inch (17.8 em) Eee PC in India, with 4 GB of flash memory
as its main storage. Lacking moving parts, it promises a longer life and quiet operation. It comes pre-installed with Xandros OS and around 40 open source software packages, but is also compatible with Windows XP. Designed to provide Internet accessibility to users, it incorporates WLAN (wireless local area network), and Wi-Fi (IEEE 802.11 a/big).
