The new laptop MSI GE620DX-620 is a versatile 15.6-inch less than 800euros. It includes an Nvidia DirectX 11 technology combined withOptimus, an Intel Core i5 Sandy Bridge, a good storage space and USB3.0, all under the Intel platform Huron River with THX sound.


This versatile notebook can attractplayers with its dedicated graphics card Geforce GT 555m capable ofrunning many games in a satisfactory manner even more than the screenresolution is classic.



Of course, those looking for acomfortable display space will be disappointed but the 1366 × 768can play a greater number of games in native resolution as 1600 ×900 or Full HD. HD video playback is also possible, either with theGeforce GT 555m or Intel GMA 3000 HD integrated into Sandy Bridgeprocessor.


Optimus technology is present, thelaptop works by default it consumes less energy and promotes greaterautonomy. Optimus evaluates in real time, however, need graphicsbased on the tasks performed by the user and asks if necessary theGeforce GT 555m, if a game is launched, for example. Switchingbetween one and the other is done automatically by Optimus.


Good overall performance are alsooffered by this device with the Sandy Bridge CPU Core i5-2430M and 4GB of RAM. Too bad about it that MSI has not provided a single bar of4 GB DDR3 which would have to change the PC by adding a second bar inthe future without having to get rid of at least one RAM module. Somealso regret that the hard drive is not faster. But it is also true ofmost competing models and good storage space of 750 GB is stillprovided.
