Dell's Inspiron M102z is an 11.6in netbook that creates use of AMD's Fusion technology. It runs an AMDE-350 APU which combines the CPU and the graphics in one small chip, and it is a much more faster as compared to a conventional 10in netbook depended upon Intel's Atom CPU.
The Inspiron M102z is comfy to applythanks to its comparatively big size, which supports a properly-sizedpalm rest and a chiclet keyboard with big keys that are pretty placedout. The keys look a small stiff and shallow, but you acquiredapplied to them after a while and we wrote this review without makingtoo many typos. The touch pad is a great size and it's extremelyresponsive — in fact, it was a little too responsive when applyingthe 2-finger scroll gesture.
Overall the Inspiron is a little bulkyand it acquires thicker towards the rear where the battery is placed. This is a like plan to other Fusion netbooks we have watched, such asthe MSI U270 and Sony VAIO YB Series. Our review unit shipped in abrushed Peacock Blue color that s good and matched the pre-loadedWindows 7 Home Premium desktop background. It even arrives in FireRed, Piano Black or Lotus Pink.
The end with the palm rest is smoothand semi-glossy, which means that it can look a little sticky lateryou have been typing with the net book for a prolonged period oftime. If you apply the net book for a long time with your lap, youwill seem few warmth, particularly almost the centre where the RAM isplaced. You will have to create certain you do not block the left airvent. The M102z's construct standard is proper for an cheap laptop, but the display was a small decrepit in the top-left corner when wetraveled the lid up and down.
