Nokia had 2 big announcements toproduce a some months ago. And yes, it’s a matter of perspectivebut, on certain markets, the S40-powered Asha series can be as big asWindows Phone. Anyway, today that the Lumia smart phones have hadtheir deserved hype, it’s time for the Asha handsets to stepforward.
The S40 platform acquired latelytreated to much more of visual updates and the most recentcharacteristic phones have brought together the 1GHz league. Thenovel Asha 303 appear to be sparing no attempt to take the completeuser experience to traditionally loyal Nokia markets.
At first, it felt strange, but a someminutes into it, we experienced we were with a friend. The Asha 303offers the familiar convenience of Touch and Type phones, but arriveswith a slightly bigger display and – most significantly – a fullQWERTY keyboard. With a connectivity adjust that borders with agioand a mightily 1GHz processor, the Asha 303 is ready to take a Nokiareturn to markets the Finns as to call their own.
The Asha 303 is in charge of a lineupthat attempts to cover the complete scope of the low end. From afundamental Dual SIM solution to different combinations oftouchscreen and QWERTY and cameras scoping from 2 to 5 megapixel –there should be a phone for each use and budget.
Save for the 3.2 megapixel camera ,the Asha 303 is the best outfitted handset of the come up. Not onlyis it the first QWERTY or touchscreen S40 phone, the capacitivedisplay is a debut for the platform. The penta - band 3G supportalong with WiFi and USB-on-the-go are worthy of a smart phone.
The Asha 303 is not a smart phone ofcourse and the largest skip is multitasking. Nokia’s S40 have neverhad that and it appears a shame that the 1GHz processor will never beactually examined. Smart dialing is another No on the list –would’ve been a nice thing to have on a QWERTY phone. Other ascompared to that, the Asha 303 is more than adequately outfitted tobe an great competitor in its class. Let’s see if this messengerdelivers on time – and with price. Coming up next is ourtraditional tour of the exterior.
The 2.6" capacitive TFTtouchscreen has QVGA resolution and can display up to 256K colors.Despite its decent brightness, the image quality is nothing to getexcited about. The sunlight legibility is decent, but not perfect.
The Asha 303 is the first S40 phone tocombine a touchscreen and a complete QWERTY keyboard. It’s the 1st capacitive display for the platform also. Of course, the QVGAresolution is something to warn versus but in terms of bioengineeringand constructed, the Asha 303 is a handset that won’t allow youdown. And there’s enough of novel skill, some of which you wouldn’tgenerally want in an entry level phone. Stay with us, like we proceedto explore the novel generation of S40.
