Thread: The Nice Nokia N97 Mobile Phone

This is it. The N97 is the phone that S60 fans have been waiting for. Very patiently, too, given that the tech involved in the N97 is hardly revolutionary. But, combined into one form, with a tweaked OS providing slide-around customizable widgets and always-on social networking windows, the N97 is potentially the smartest smartphone ever, even if it isn't as pretty as an iPhone or as productive as a Windows phone.
It has HSDPA, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi, naturally, but also a 6L,Ox360 screen, 32GB on board memary, a 3.5mm headphone jack and a 5MP Carl Zeiss camera, capable of taking, says Nokia, "DVD-quality video." Nokia is also citing 1.5 days audio-playback or L,.5 hours video. We'll find out for sure when it's released later this spring.
