I just got a new phone from Rogers and I really want it unbranded, I already have unlocked, unbranded but still I can avoid this stupid restriction on my ringtones...

Yes, what is the Rogers version of the firmware on the phone now? If later the generic version provided by Nokia based on your product code, you will not be able to unbranded using the conventional / standard way.

What tone restriction? If this is the restriction of mp3 just convert your mp3 to wma.

BTW, where did you get released? How much? You can also unblock add languages as well?

How do I know what firmware my Roger and how can I tell if a mine after the generic version? Thank you very much!
