Thread: Unlocking China phone?

I recently got a "Nokia" N99i (AKA Toshiba V9). I'm thinking it's a fake Nokia phone since .. well it looks fake and I can't unlock it on online since they don't have this model in their options. I transferred my sim card to this phone and the problem is that it does not recognize my network (Rogers).How can I unlock the phone, sim card, or whatever?Thanks in advance ^_^

where did you get from? if you didn't get it from your service provider, it probably is fake. i would take it back to wherever you got it and demand a refund.

call rogers, they will need 2 numbers off the phone, and they can try to unlock it for you. It can take acouple days though.
