My wife and I are in the process of switching from Orange to the 3's mobile network, great packages and great phones but a minor issue in coverage. Signal strength generally is fine but approximately 100 yards outside of the village we live in coverage drops completely (typical), it remains off for approx 10 miles and then picks up again. BTW we live in the DD10 postcode area and the coverage stops just south of St Cyrus and comes back just north of Inverbervie driving up the A92.Naturally I checked the coverage checker before taking out the contract and of course everything looked fine. I'm asking 3 what they can do to help but was wondering what else is out there. Can anyone recommend any setting changes or add ons for mobile phones to increase signal strength in dodgy locations. I've seen loads of adverts but pretty muc assume they are all dodgy. Has anyone overcome a similar problem? As mentioned the phones in questions are Sony K800i and a Nokia N95 8GB.Any help appreciated
