Thread: Has anyone had problems with their nokia 5300 music xpress phone not being recognized by their computer?

H3LP!!!!! I've triedSYNC mode, and DATA STORAGE MODE..restarted the computer with the phone plugged in,I've searched for new hardware..but no matter what I do my computer won't find it?It's not the usb ports, cause I can plug other items into the USB ports and they're seen instantly!Is there some featune on the phone we need to turn on that the instructions fail to mention?

have you got a memory card in the phone? if not the only way your computer will 'see' the phone is through nokia pc suite which you can install from the cd that came with the phone.
