Thread: my nokia phone is not recognising my sim card?

i have the Nokia classic which has been working perfectly since i bought it in january. Today, the network suddenly went dead despite having full signal. I could not make calls or send texts! To try and solve the problem, i switched off and back on my phone, only to find that it now no longer even recognized my sim card!I have put the sim card in another phone, which has worked perfectly. i put a different sim card in the offending phone, and the same thing happened.any solutions?thanks

my frens fones someitmes do that take ur sims thing out and blow the part where it came fromthen put it back in it should work

oh this is simple all you have to do is remove the sim card and clean the tip and clean where you put the sim card in thats it.

hey that happens to my phone too. u just need to slide the sim card out and put it back in, put your battery on and turn it on. it usually works for me.

i am not sure that i kno wats wrong but have u tryed calling or going to the store were u bought the phone or just try to get a new simcard hope this helps
