Thread: Nokia X3 XpressMusic Phone

The old music phone series of Nokia, XpressMusic, now has a successor: the 'X' series. The first member of this dynasty is the X3. This music phone from Nokia is a good looking slider done in black with two strips in red. Hidden below the display is the flat alphanumeric keypad that doesn't spoil the typing experience. Operating on Symbian 840, it comes with a few extras like the Opera Mini browser, which renders web pages in a compressed format.

It has looks that are identical to those of earlier music phones. The dedicated music controls sit next to the 2.2inch display and can be used for managing tracks, access¬ing the music player, and switching between the FM radio channels as well. Conveniently enough, this phone has a built in antenna, which eliminates the need of connecting a headset to it in order to listen to FM broadcast.

The sound was good and FM reception on all chan¬nels was excellent. Coming back to the media player, the settings included stereo widening along with equaliser with five modes (normal, pop, rock, jazz and classic). There is an added option of creating two personalised modes. In addition to good sound reception for accessing calls, it has a 3.2 MP camera that produces average images.

I like the visual appearance of this phone a lot, it is extremely good looking! Does it also store MP3's? If so whats the storage capacity?
