Thread: The Asus G50v Notebook Shutdown problem with RMA

I had the same problem and I was running Avast anti virus. This is a problem specific to Vista 64 and Avast, but Avast does not run, could be another program causing the problem.

I mean im not running many programs installed msn just because I was in a reformat, but I feel it could be windows update or bad records.

Another problem that I found this was after the RMA can not move the wifi switch is a lock or something on the laptop?

I'm not sure what you mean by "can not move the wifi switch." No physical wifi switch on the ASUS G50. Are you referring to enabling / disabling the wifi through the windows?

Have just returned from the laptop a second RMA problem still exists; just give a replacement laptop asus soy.

G50 is not sure this is just my Asus x5-G50VT undoubtedly has a physical wifi switch is on the front of the laptop to the most left. As for your problem with the switch? ... Not a clue

Here there’s a switch for the wifi on the front, which now could be a change of software, but there physically.

Not sure what model but it certainly has Asus G50V has a physical switch on the front left of my Asus G50V.
