The Gateway EC1435u is the midrange edition of three ultra-compact notebooks (EC1409u, EC1430u, and EC1435u) launched in October 2009. It aspects an Intel dual core Celeron processor (SU2300), 2GB of DDR2 RAM (flexible to 4GB), and a moderately small 160GB SATA hard-disc drive. It trades for the same cost as the EC1409u(Single core Celeron) because it hosts a larger 6-cell Lithium ion battery built for lasting 6-8 hours per charge. Akin to its peers, however, it can handle both business and entertainment connected customer needs despite its ultra-cheap price. Integrated are wired/wireless Internet connectivity, fixed mic/webcam, and two high-performance A/V components: an Intel Graphics Accelerator and Dolby Technology.
