The New Dimension
Ever since the release of the movie Avatar in 3D, there has been a slew of launches from the electronic hardware makers in an attempt to make every digital appliance you use 3D enabled. Mobile handset domain has also geared up to provide this latest technology to the consumers. After the launch of Spice's M67 3D, now Zen has unveiled S30 3D in the market. With the dimensions of 116 x 52 x 14 mrn and weighs 80 grams. The handset is sleek but bulky. The phone's chassis is made up of rubberised plastic to provide extra grip. A 2.4-inch screen with TIT colour display dominates the front panel.

The S30 uses an auto-stereoscopic display, which means that it doesn't require 3D glasses to view images or video in 3D. The icons, along with the wallpapers of the home screen give 3D effect. The menu icons have also been customised to add an overall 3D feel but the videos or pictures taken from the handset itself or downloaded from the internet appear a bit plain. Control key cluster lies below the screen.
