What the Huawei U8510 Ideos X3 bringsto the table is a solid Android phone in the budget smartphonesection. Though it is not the most powerful one about, the X3 doestake few goodness to the tablet, specifiaclly the cloud storage bit.
Although the Ideos has a somewhatbigger screen size than the Samsung Galaxy Y, the latter is reallybroader. Thanks to the extreme slim bezel, the Ideos is extreme comfyto hold. Around the screen is the glossy black end. Only over it isthe front facing camera for video calls, greatly blending in on thesurroundings.
There is a silver strip running aboutthe slopes of the phone, and then arcs its way towards the bottom atthe front. Only under the screen are three touch keys - return, alternatives and search. Amazingly, they are not illuminated, andthat can be a bit of a trouble if you are applying the phone in thedark.
Commonly, you will have to squint andapply the light spilling above from the screen to watch where whichkey is. Only under this, where the silver strip runs across, is ahardware key for Home. Volume rocker is with the right spine. The tophas the power key and the 3.5mm jack. We have never been lovers ofsilver/ shiny borders around any connectivity ports and jacks, sincethey tend to acquire scratched extreme rapidly.
Flip the phone above, and you willinstantly remark the rubbered end, in black color. Opening thebattery cover is a neat mechanism - slide down from the top and thecomplete thing opens. No applying the nails to forcefully open it.The micro SD slot can be got at without including to remove thebattery, but not for the SIM card.
We do as the construct quality of thephone. It does not seem as plasticity like few of the options in thisprice bracket. The 3.2-inch screen has a result of 480 x 320 pixels. It is a mighty bright screen, and the broader level scope assists amuch more when you adjust it to auto brightness way. The crispness israther good like considerable, and also later applying 4-inch orbigger screen smartphones prior to this, text readability was notuncomfortable also initially. Color depth is not extreme good while, but the good thing is there is perfectly no gradation.
The Ideos arrives with Android 2.3, andthe Huawei Launcher UI on it. Much as the UI skins of a much more ofthe rivals, this even has 5 home displays. There are the generalstandard widgets usable, but not much else.
