Buoyed by the well received IN 2020, lntex has launched yet another offering, the IN 2222. The IN 2222 isn't as attractive as its predecessor but is quite handy and extremely light. It has a glossy black body (that looks a bit boring) and a bright 1 .5-inch CSTN screen. The keypad is pretty solid and well-spaced out. This phone has all what you expect in an entry-level phone; FM radio (with recorder), WAP browser, games, sound recorder and melody composer. The loudspeaker for FM and calls was sufficiently loud. Interestingly, you can blacklist upto 5 pesky numbers, and this feature is completely network independent.

But it does have some exclusions. You can't transfer any data as there is no mini USB cable shipped along, and it doesn't recognize an external cable. There's no Bluetooth or Infrared either So what can you do? Pray that your local radio station plays your favorite track, so that you can record it. But the fact that it has only 4 MB of in-built memory and no expansion slot makes you feel a little silly. At around the same price, you can also consider the Samsung C160/170, which has many of the same features but also comes with mobile tracking software.
