has finally arrived. The first phone to support Android, Google's open source operating system, it's been as long and keenly anticipated as the Age of Aquarius or the arrival of the Mumbai Rajdhani Express at New Delhi railway station.
Android is a free platform that allows anyone with the time and inclination to create their own apps for the ~l. That ki~d of revolutionary thinking makes Windows Mobile and Symbian look like tired regimes, and Apple look, not for the first time, like a control freak. Unfortunately, inner beauty doesn't count for much round here, and the Gl is distinctly lacking the wow factor of the iPhone, Omnia or Storm. Thick of thigh and slide-out of it's a portly fellow. At 3.2 inches, the screen is a decent size, but it could do with being brighter.
