HTC TOUCH VIVA T2223 MOBILE PHONE, a more affordable versionofHTC's popular Touch and is encased in a glossy egg-like shell. The build is top notch and as with most smartphones of its ilk, it has minimal controls on its fascia. Frills such as FM radio, autofocus snapper, GPS etc have all been done away with, but the bare essentials are all there. There is no 3G support, but you do get other connectivity options such as Bluetooth and WiFi. interface lacks 3D, but still works wonders by hiding WinMo's deficiencies, something like a chocolate-covered pill if you ask us.
The home screen is a neat array oflarge icons, all accessible by a touch of a finger or using the 5-way. You can set up your fave contacts, apps etc directly and are just a finger touch away from commonly used thingies like the web, messaging, email, weather, photos and music. Our biggest gripe with touchscreen-only Windows phones has always been text input, and that's taken care ofbya full onscreen complemented byword completion. In keeping with the cost -cutting measures, the CPU is a 201 MHz affair, but it copes well with the usual apps, even whiJe multi-tasking.
