HTC Touch Pro Mobile Phone, Check out the whopping 10cm on the Touch Pro - but it comes at a price, and we're not talking about the 500 notes it costs. If you can find room for its 18mm girth and 165g weight in your life, there's plenty to like. Headline features include HSDPA and Wi-Fi download speeds, built-in A-GPS for sat-nav, an autofocus 3.2megapixel snapper, a TV-out connection and expandable memory via microSD. Although nowhere near as fluid as the iPhone's interface, HTC's TouchFLO 3D system has gradually improved with every Touch release.

However, we're a bit miffed to report that the Pro's sensitivity and responsiveness has regressed - reaction times are annoyingly sluggish. It would appear HTC is aware of the shortcomings, as there's also a stylus and mechanised joypad for more accurate and quicker operational back-up, without which this would be an incredibly frustrating handset to use. With fast HSDPA speeds and a sharp, 2.8in VGA display that's the best of all in this test, the Touch Pro is exceptionally slick at surfing the internet, and the peerless Opera 9.5 web browser has to take some credit for that. Windows Mobile often lack the desirability factor, but the Touch Pro just about pulls it off.
