Default Any luck with dropped calls / network errors on 3.0 beta?

I'm at the end of my wits with my iPhone. In Austin, despite 850MHz 3G, I have approximately 1 / 2 my calls are dropped, especially if I'm in my car. This is my 6th iPhone. Rogers on people do not even know what a dropped call, that is, unless they lose their signal floor ... Other cities I have visited I have not dropped call issue.

I may have to. I have dealt with AT & T Austin poor network of almost a year. 850MHz before 3G was a joke. Now that it has marginal coverage (never a good pace up coincide with other airlines on the coverage and quality), I drop calls like hot potatoes, with a signal. May be because AT & T is the preferred channel 1900 MHz still here (which is crazy).

AT & T did a great job of working with Apple a shade more than the fault of the dropped calls... but I am almost certain that a new firmware will not bring any relief.

I have heard that this phone does everything network-wise about perfect, with more exemption of one thing: 3G to 2G transitions. I always had problem with this. I didn’t yet hear any other 3g phones users’ complain about dropped calls.

I know the thing that a phone OS cannot fix a network problem.

I have had more trouble with the new 3.0 beta 5 I've had in a long time and by that I mean two times in the past week it has lost the service and brought back as 2-3 minutes. Never had anything wrong before. I had dropped calls with iPhone and not as good as with 2.0.something but were perfect 2.2, etc, and even very well with 3.0 beta 4, beta 5, but has not been so great for me.
