Philips has added a new member to their Xenium range with the introduction of Philips X550. This new candybar phone offers a QVGA screen with 262k colors, a 3.2MP autofocus camera, a microSD card slot (up to 8GB), an FM radio with RDS, Bluetooth and an impressive battery that lasts up to a month stand-by mode . Unfortunately, the Philips X550 does not have 3G connectivity, which is only compatible with EDGE and GPRS for data transmission; it could not be sold in the U.S... Pricing and availability are still unknown at this time.
