Default Lg Vx9900 as high speed modem?

    hi,everyone

Is there any way to use this function as a modem for my laptop? I have read that some have used this model as a modem ... but I have no phone service or want to pay for one. So ... Does anyone know how or if that is possible at all?

After reading another thread regarding a similar topic, it seems that it is illegal to do so. If this is true, sorry, I thought since I pay for unlimited data transfer that does not matter one way or another. If this is not illegal, I still like an idea. Otherwise, does not mean that beyond the limits of a subject.

I'm trying to find this information. There is much information about this topic, but can be read through every day, and the vast majority is a couple of years old. Does anyone have information on whether this is possible and how?

I think so; I did this with my Voyager. Google "Voyager" hacks "and see what you ... must be the same or similar.

The only way to do this properly is to get the role of immobilization of mobile broadband VZW.

I do not know who is "illegal", but probably not what you intend to Verizon because I am sure you want to pay for the service of the detention. However, if you're already paying for unlimited data plan with their current use is not shown on your invoice. The rationalization is up to you.

Well, they can differentiate between tethered data and data used by the phone only... that can and have laws and / or cancel service to search data tied. Although there are ways to avoid this, it is still risky at best. I would not recommend it in any case more than the very occasional user.

Once again, the only way is to get a proper function of the immobilization of VZW. Anything else is not compatible and can get you into trouble - not to mention that it is not something that is discussed in HoFo these days anyway, so really not much more.
