Blackberry made no bones about the all practical, no-nonsense attitude of its phones. It did try to steer off the trodden path with the Storm, but sadly could not match up to its 'funner' rivals. We assume BB has learnt its lesson, because the Curve strikes a neat little balance between tradional and different. If the Blackberry Bold is a tough-as-nails exec in a board meeting, then the new Curve is the same guy on Casual Friday; dressed down, a little relaxed and even a bit funny, but just as business like. To prove its leisurely attitude towards life, the 8250 comes decked with dedicated media keys as well as applications which facilitate easy media sharing via sites such as Flickr and Facebook. The glowing trackball is conspicuous by its absence, having been replaced by a mini- trackpad instead. Smart decision ' We'll just have to wait and see.
