LG GD900 Crystal Mobile phone This touch slider's claim to fame is its see through keypad. This may reek of whimsy (and feels a bit plasticky), but it doubles as a second touch interface. The LG also weighs in with an 8MP camera, WVGA video recording and Wi-Fi to push its appeal beyond the fancy looks.
By incorporating several touch input techniques, gesture shortcuts and handwriting recognition, LG has over-complicated usability. Still, the keypad works well as a zoom control for the camera and a trackpad for browsing. The 8MP snapper takes decent shots, while the video recorder delivers smooth footage. The lack of GPS is disappointing though. A stylish, unique handset, but the variety of input techniques can be confusing.
