You get two sensors, which each operate independently; when motion is detected within 5 ', it will sound an alarm for 5 seconds. You give an output of 5 seconds behind after you activate it. You also get a simulation of the security video camera with a red LED flashes, and in fact "pans" side to side, to help deter intruders. Sensors and cameras at each stop, and require three AA batteries (a total of nine, none included). The sensors are each 3 "x3-1 / 4" in height; extend 2-1/4 "wall. Support With camera is adjustable 2-1/4" x6 "x6-1 / 4" in height. Mounting hardware included.

I would not do that if I have a pet to take care off if, as the little bugger will probably set the alarm too often.
