Philips HTS-6600 Home Theater The first reality check we got was the butt -kicking low-frequency response the subwoofer generated. One doesn't usually expect such a full and meaty response from a "bass module" of an HTiS! Sound quality in stereo mode was surprisingly good and didn't suffer from the most common small-system trap of high-sibilance and no-bass. The well-rounded sound of system was much larger than its size would suggest. It is sure to ignite a passion for smaller systems!
