The S657 had absolutely no problem with the calibration tests we put it through. In fac!. there wasn't a single parameter we tweaked as the entire range of blacks and greys were rendered perfectly while maintaining the sharpness on even the most demanding of frames. The S657 did what not many players could have done: it kept us away from the 'Stop' button while we watched one of the lowest standards of digital video ever to have been created.
