Denon PMA-2000AE Amplifier It was as if we were surrounded by massive cathedral walls, because the horns and the strings seemed to be bouncing at us from metres away. It was immensely powerful, sturdy and tight, elongating the soundstage even further behind our ears. The depth and imaging of cut-up reverb tails that this amplifier managed to render was unbelievable. You really don't get this sense of 'in-the-music' even on the best pair of headphones out there.
