Default Sense hilly 5.1 system or a "real" 5.1 system via the amplifier?

Hi, I have a small problem.
Since I will use my computer as a multimedia PC, ie HD movies to watch, my 27 "also has a built-in TV cable tuner, the wheels with music, etc., I want my existing 1.4 speaker system, which is already good 7-8 years old , replace it with a newer more powerful system.

Amplifiers, or instead, a bundle of a THX (home theater system) and a 5.1 speaker system from JBL.

A Sky HD Kabelresiever is also about how close you all the best together, so that the sound of TV movies can be played via the speaker system.

So I was able to convince the Z 5500 really, for the price you will not, except perhaps the devil's concept, which related to the (sound) comes running down quality.
The sound system from Logitech also has every possible audio connection (optical, coaxial and analog)

    Connects
    Option 1:
    Overall, the Logitech Center
    Option 2:
Kabel reciever the (optical) to the Pc and then the PC (coaxial) to the boxes.

I that are confined to the question of whether a 5.1 speaker system, plus THX amplifier is not in respect of such box system for PCs would be possibly the besere Alternative.

Where do you get this wisdom? The fee is 50 € more and test results are very similar.

Does not matter to get to a reasonably acceptable sound system with individual amplifiers and speakers, you should lie down even less the double, then the sound quality would be even better.
A third possibility would be there too by downloading the boxes themselves are building and / or solder the amplifier.
Would in any case probably the highest quality possible and would be well priced to move about, depending on the installed components, at 400-500 €.
But then the question is whether you really want to invest the time. For
    1. Read up on the knowledge
    2. The actual construction. A chassis takes time.

Thank you @ gammer but from the age when I build my own boxes I'm already out and I also already did that.

To me it is now damn well if I must lie down 300 or 500 € for it.
It is important to reaffirm that there is of good quality, it sounds right and the whole is not connected to the complicated, and I still have to buy adapters and all drawings of the kind.

So a 5.1 system for the computer just has the advantage that I have to make only the three plugs into my sound card. This I bought the rest for just that purpose before a couple months. There is a Creative X-FI Titanium and should be used.

Very interesting report, but I think the saying "you should spend already 1000 €" a little too exaggerated.

I mean OK, if a giant has NEN space where such a facility is clean, then 1000 € may still be a real foundation, but my living room has just 15 square meters what to make since a 1000 € monster in, unless I wanted it I forfeit my neighbor. Since a weaker system does with its safety and thoughtfully Dinst periods.

The Logitech system, as described above, has been a very good sound. I also got myself a JBL 5.1 speaker system angehöhrt inc Onkyo amplifier, the price was € 399 and the sound was ebenfals fine.

I have the Logitech Z-5500, around 2 years already, and am therefore fully satisfied. Is very easy to connect and has crystal clear sound, bass 1A.

To connect, very easy and fast. 'm No expert, was my first sound system.

The boxes you can just plug in the back of the amplifier. from there, then a cable to the control station (what you call it? "I mean the part where you can adjust the sound with the big rotary.

Thanks for the tip, I also tend to he the Logitech. The only question is how can I connect the HD Reciver of everything, so I can enjoy Fernsehn on the 5.1 system.
