Binatone, the UK-based international telecom giant, has entered India with the launch of its touch tablet at a very affordable price. The Home Surf Touch tablet, which is almost as slim as the iPad, runs Android 1.6, has a 20.3cm (8-inch) resistive screen, Wi-Fi, 2GB on-board storage and 128MB RAM and is powered by an ARM 11 667MHz processor. But which is claimed to be less than half that charged by other Android tablets available in the market today.
