Operating out of a small workshop in Mumbai, Norge (Eastern Electronics) has always given us products that have great value-for*money and a long shelf life. One of the characteristics of the guys at Norge is their relentless attempt to make something new, considering their product revelations in the last couple of quarters. Apart from their lineup of speakers and amplifiers, they have also unveiled a phono pre*amplifier forturntables, this time we have their off-the-hook AM/FM tuner that made it to our studio. The question that most of you would ask is why go for a separate AM/FM tuner when you can
get one pre-installed on any A V receiver, stereo receiver and, for that matter, on a stereo amplifier as well. The thing is with most of these devices there isn't enough emphasis on the quality of the components used for the tuner sections. Since it's just an add- on to the product, most of the times the tuners have to share the power supply that is used to power the display of the device, which is something no audiophile would opt for. In order to solve this problem, Norge has come up with a discreet AM/FM tuner, which can cater to your radio needs without compromising on the quality of the product.
